Kinyatta E. Gray Named DMV's Remarkable Woman

In March 2023, Kinyatta E. Gray was named DMVs Remarkable Woman of the Year. Kinyatta was nominated for this prestigious annual honor by Nexstar and DC News Now. Kinyatta rose to the top of over 10,000 hopefuls and became 1 of 112 women flown to Hollywood to be treated like a celebrity and honored for her commitment to improving the lives of others.

For this honor, Kinyatta was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star, certified by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Gray founded The Heart of Miss Bee in 2023 to educate and provide awareness and access to grief journals. Kinyatta also offers a free-grief journal program for those who qualify.
